A book on porcelain.

Visual artist Oxana Malevanik was inspired by the idea of the family dinner service. Imagine it would have not the usual illustrations of flowers on it, but scenes of ones own childhood and upbringing. With this in mind, she developed a service of which each part contains five images and a text. Thus her family porcelain represents crucial happenings and little jokes of Malevanik's memories of her youth.

On Thursday 12 April there is a public viewing of the complete service, in the presence of the artist, who will talk about her project.  Stripservice is supported by the Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst.
